This service provides a series of interest, aptitude, and work temperament tests to assist an individual in identifying vocational strengths in order to formulate a realistic vocational and career goal.
A computerized career assessment program, Magellan, is just one of tools used to help a person make career decisions. Magellan uses 9 assessments and performance-based surveys to measure 12 interest areas and 27 criterion-referenced factors based on the U.S. Department of Labor's "Revised Handbook for Analyzing Jobs." A database of over 1250 occupations is available for the participant to explore.

Community-Based Assessments which take place at business sites of employers gives an individual the opportunity to observe, job shadow, or perform hands-on work in a variety of occupations. These opportunities provide the participant with additional information in order to make career decisions.
